Although I am a full time wedding, elopement and couples photographer... I am also a stay at home mom to three wild and rambunctious boys. Even after all of these years of having this job it still seems so surreal to be able to say that this is what I am able to do full time. When a cameras not in my hand you can usually catch me sipping on Starbucks, spending time with my family and buying too much home decor at target and hobby lobby because I am obsessed with HGTV and am constantly changing things up in my home. Im a yankee, born in New Jersey but lived in the Carolinas for 15 years. So even though I dont have the accent anymore I will say you can take the girl out of the city but you cant take the city out of the girl.
Fun fact about me, this was suppose to be just a "hobby" while I went to school on a career path completely different then this. I was starting college to become a nurse but I quickly feel in love with photography when I was gifted a camera from my mother to photograph my own children, because it was then that I realized the importance of "once in a life time" moments and feelings needing to be frozen in time.
The difference with my photography is I don't just want you to look at a photo I take and see a specific moment again, I want you to FEEL it. I want you to look at that portrait and your body fill with the exact emotion you felt on the day it happened so you can re live it over and over again.
I like to laugh until its hard to breath and smile so much that my cheeks hurt. I like to watch the sun rise and set and be reminded of all of Gods beautiful creations.
